Industry: Jewelry & Luxury Retail
Scope: Website Design, Catalog UX & Mobile Interface Design

Project Overview
Jewelry customers do not all arrive with the same intention. Some want to browse ready-made pieces. Others are looking for a custom design, a repair, or advice on choosing a gemstone. This project brought those different journeys into one website design.
The design scope covered the homepage, category catalog, filtering interface, product details, service pages, company information, editorial content, and contact pages. Dedicated mobile layouts extended the visual system to smaller screens.
The Challenge: Products and Expertise in One Experience
The store’s offering combined jewelry retail with specialist services. A catalog alone would not communicate that range, while a purely editorial website would make individual products harder to explore.
The interface needed to balance product discovery with service enquiries. It also needed space for the brand’s background, its approach to craftsmanship, practical shopping information, and showroom details.
Our Design Approach
A Homepage With Multiple Routes Into the Business
The homepage introduces the jewelry collection through a large visual opening and a direct route to the catalog. Category previews give shoppers a more specific starting point, including rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, and cufflinks.
Collection features, new arrivals, and bestseller sections offer additional ways to browse. These sections serve different intentions: exploring a particular style, discovering recent pieces, or starting with popular products.
Specialist services have their own place on the homepage. Custom manufacturing, jewelry repair, gemstone selection, and appraisal are presented as distinct offerings rather than buried in company information.
Catalog and Filtering Interfaces
The project includes category catalog layouts and dedicated filtering designs. This gives the product range a structured browsing experience beyond a single long grid.
Product cards combine imagery, names, and prices, with labels available for selected items. A consistent card structure helps customers compare pieces while allowing the photography to carry the visual detail.
The mobile design includes a separate catalog filter view. Treating filtering as its own mobile interface provides space for the controls without crowding the product listing.

Dedicated Product Detail Design
Product detail layouts give individual pieces a dedicated place in the website. The design scope includes both desktop and mobile product views, keeping the product journey connected to the broader catalog experience.
The focus is on a consistent hierarchy between the jewelry imagery and the supporting product information. The page system can accommodate detailed consideration, which is especially relevant for purchases where appearance and specifications both matter.
Service Pages for More Considered Enquiries
We designed separate pages for custom jewelry manufacturing, repairs, appraisal, and gemstone selection. Each service has different customer questions and deserves more explanation than a short catalog label.
Separating these services gives visitors a focused destination for their particular need. It also provides a clearer structure for presenting the studio’s expertise alongside the products it sells.
Brand Story and Supporting Content
The homepage includes a founder introduction, brand background, press coverage, and sections explaining the business’s approach to quality and custom work. These areas create space for context beyond product specifications and pricing.
The wider design includes a blog, article pages, and an author page. Together, they provide a consistent home for editorial content, company news, and specialist knowledge.
A gift certificate section introduces another route for shoppers who want to give jewelry without choosing a specific piece. Delivery and payment information have a dedicated page in the design system.
A Bridge Between Online Browsing and the Showroom
Contact information and showroom details are part of the overall experience. The homepage includes space for the address, opening hours, contact numbers, and location guidance.
For a jewelry business, the next step may be a conversation or an in-person visit. Making these details accessible connects digital discovery with the physical store.

Desktop and Mobile Design
The project includes dedicated mobile screens for the homepage, catalog, filters, product details, services, delivery and payment information, contacts, company information, and editorial pages.
This scope treats mobile browsing as a complete journey. Customers can move from discovering a collection to exploring a product or finding a service without relying on a desktop-only page structure.
Typography references, styling foundations, product card explorations, and reusable interface elements support consistency across the page set.
Design Deliverables
The completed design set covers the homepage; product category catalog and filters; product detail pages; custom manufacturing, repair, appraisal, and gemstone service pages; company and contact pages; delivery and payment information; blog, article, and author layouts; and dedicated mobile interfaces.
The Outcome
The project produced a coordinated website design for a jewelry retailer with both products and specialist services. The page system gives collections, individual pieces, craftsmanship, and showroom information distinct roles within the same experience.
The case study focuses on the design deliverables and the customer journeys represented in the project. Sales, conversion, and traffic results are not included.
