Handyman & home repair
WordPress Website & Paid Advertising for a Handyman Business
A handyman website developed from scratch on WordPress, with Home, Services, Packages, and About pages, supported by Google Ads and targeted social advertising.
Challenge
We developed a handyman business website from scratch on WordPress and launched Google Ads and targeted social advertising promoting its services. The project combined a new website with paid promotion of the work the business offered.
The website needed to explain a varied service offering without making visitors search through one long general description. It also needed space for grouped packages, company information, and a clear way to request a quote.
This handyman website development case study documents the website and advertising work. The client’s name and location are withheld.
Approach
We organized the WordPress website around four core pages: Home, Services, Packages, and About. Each had a distinct role: introduce the business, explain its services, present grouped offerings, or show the company behind the work. Quote-request prompts connected that information to the next step.
| Project element | Scope |
|---|---|
| Business | Handyman and home repair services |
| Platform | WordPress |
| Development | Website built from scratch |
| Core pages | Home, Services, Packages, About |
| Advertising | Google Ads and targeted social advertising promoting handyman services |
Developing the handyman website on WordPress
Our WordPress website development work turned the project into a working site for the business. The four-page structure separated the service offering from packages and company information, while the homepage introduced the business as a whole.
That structure gave visitors several ways to explore the offer. They could review the service categories, compare package contents, learn about the company, or move towards a quote request.
Homepage: an introduction and a route to an enquiry
The homepage layout placed an introductory message beside a quote-request action. The header included contact information and another way to enquire, keeping the next step visible near the navigation.
Further sections introduced the company, explained the contact process, and presented a service overview. Quote prompts appeared at different points in the layout, so the visitor could take the next step after reviewing the information relevant to their task.

Services: separate sections for different types of work
The Services layout grouped handyman work into categories including general repairs, painting and decorating, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, carpentry, and furniture assembly.
Each category paired an image with a heading, description space, and a next-step link. This gave visitors recognizable starting points for different household tasks and gave the website room to explain each area of work.

Packages: showing the work included in an offering
The Packages layout presented three grouped offerings. Each combined a package name, a list of included tasks, a price area, and a Get started button.
Putting the scope beside the next action gave visitors a way to review the included work before enquiring. The design showed how smaller repair work, broader maintenance, and more extensive improvements could be presented within the same website.

About: the company behind the services
The About layout made space for the company story, mission, values, team, and contact information. This gave the business a separate place to introduce itself alongside the practical service and package pages.
The four core pages worked together: the homepage introduced the offer, Services explained the categories, Packages presented grouped scopes, and About introduced the company.

The images are retained project design layouts. Demonstration copy, names, prices, reviews, and counters are not presented as verified client facts. This case documents WordPress development and advertising, without claiming original authorship of every visual asset.
Google Ads promoting handyman services
Alongside the website, we launched Google Ads campaigns promoting the business’s services. This extended the project from website development into paid promotion of the work the business offered.
The website provided a place to review the company, services, and packages. The advertising work promoted those services through Google.
Targeted social advertising alongside Google Ads
We also launched targeted social advertising promoting handyman services. Together with Google Ads, this formed the project’s paid digital marketing scope.
The completed work therefore included both the business website and advertising through two types of paid channels.
